Actor Katherine Heigl is opening her mind about being raised in an environment that was a "white bubble" and how the realization has affected how she raises her multiracial adopted children. In a recent "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Grey's Anatomy" actress Katherine Heigl revealed that she did not care about her skin tone, until she met her adopted sister who was from South Korea. "I wanted to know Meg how she was that she was treated differently when going out with our parents and when she went out alone. Meg responded "Oh yes! All the all the time!" Heigl told her parents it made her realize just how naive she had been. She admitted that she was frustrated however she was also aware of that she had to channel this anger to help her daughters. Heigl has a son of four years and Josh Kelley, her husband for 13 years. They have adopted Nancy Leigh from South Korea at the age of 12 in 2009. and then Adalaide aged 8 who is now old and is Black as of 2012.
